Whether it's through advancing agricultural technology, reducing food waste, or developing new food products, this challenge seeks to empower change-makers who are passionate about shaping the future of food.

Who can apply?

Startups with innovative & sustainable agri-food solutions that can help optimize water and/or energy usage while minimizing environmental impact, in arid and semi-arid regions.

Focus Areas: Energy & Water Efficiency in Agriculture; Indoor Farming Technologies; Food Loss & Waste Management; IoT-based Platforms for Farm Monitoring & Management; Ag Biotech in Food; Regenerative Agriculture, Growing Media & Soilless; among others.

Based in one of the following Green Group countries: Cape Verde, Costa Rica, Iceland, Singapore, Slovenia, United Arab Emirates.
